During my first few years of college, my free time was very limited. I took a full load, running for the cross country team and tutoring at the career center. Yet, I wanted to make a bit of extra spending money. So, I started making jewelry and selling it both on Etsy and at local craft fairs.
I never made it big; however, I did learn a lot about product photography, product marketing, and branding while trying to sell my creations. In the end, it was actually running a small jewelry shop that made me decide on a career being my own boss, and marketing for other small businesses was a path I wanted to take. I don’t make jewelry anymore. However, this portfolio can serve as an example of one of my past hobbies, one I learned a lot from.
